Sisteme standarizate pentru masurarea vascozitatii

Masurarea viscozitatii fluidelor se realizeaza cu anumite dispozitive, numite viscozimetre .. Acestea se impart in trei categorii:

Viscozimetre rotative care se bazeaza pe masurarea momentului de frecare necesar antrenarii piesei mobile cu viteza constanta, unde fluidul testat se gaseste intre corpul (cilindru, con) care se afla in rotatie fata de un alt corp fix (cilindru, plan).

Viscozimetre capilare in care se masoara timpul de scugere al unui volum de fluid testat printr-un tub capilar sau alt orificiu calibrat

Viscozimetre empirice care se bazeaza pe masurarea vitezei de cadere a unui obiect (bila, cilindru,banda) in fluidul testat
